Inner Wellness Therapy

About Me

Hi, I'm Megan! I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a special focus on helping individuals navigate the complexities of religious trauma, spiritual abuse, high-control religious groups, cult recovery, and first responder/front-line wellness. I also support individuals navigating life transitions, feeling uncertain about who they’re becoming or disconnected from their sense of purpose, as well as couples seeking deeper connection, clearer communication, or support through challenges. Whether you're graduating, changing careers, moving cities, questioning your identity and self-worth, or navigating relationship challenges as a couple - I’m here to support you through the uncertainty. Together, we make space for reflection, healing, and growth - building clarity, confidence, and emotional grounding along the way. â€‹

I have been passionate about mental health since a young age, but I first realized I wanted to become a psychotherapist after my own personal experiences as a first responder and front-line worker, and saw firsthand how high-stress environments can deeply impact mental health. My own experience of navigating major life changes, feeling unsure about my direction, and losing touch with my authentic self, helped me recognize the transformative power of therapy. I recognized the profound effects these challenges have on our mental health and well-being, and knew I wanted to help others transform their lives. I am passionate about walking alongside others through life's challenges as well as helping to navigate other stressors such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and burnout.

My Philosophy to Therapy

My philosophy to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration, directness, and authenticity. I believe that each person is the expert of their own story, and my role is to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, values, and goals. Together, we will uncover your most authentic self and work toward becoming the best version of you - whatever that may look like in your life. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to have meaningful conversations that foster insight, growth, and lasting change.

I take a personalized, culturally sensitive approach to therapy, recognizing that every client is unique. Your background, preferences, and needs will guide our work together. Whether you're going through life transitions, relationship challenges, or navigating other stressors, we’ll collaborate to find strategies that genuinely resonate with you and support your well-being in a sustainable, empowering way.
